Last night I hosted the SnB at my house. We had lots of knitting, wine, coffee and bitching. It was a really good time...okay so I hope everyone had a good time. Anyway there was one shocking moment. We were all stunned into silence. Really. As a hostess, I had no clue as to what etiquette might demand of me. Do I ask him to leave? Point out his fashion faux pas or just post a pic on my blog the next day and let the rest of you suggest what's to be done. Guess what I chose to do?
Holy kilts Batman! KiltMan sans kilt! Yeah. We were stunned, too.
Dang, I miss some cool stuff on Tuesdays! Even my mom would've flipped her lid.

It sounds like the party was fun, though!

It's not a bong! I swear.
I had to meet my pants quota - I'm not taking anything but my kilts to Rhinebeck. (Have I mentioned I'm going to Rhinebeck?) :-)

Looks like he was still working on his kilt hose :) Thanks for the link to his blog! It sounds like he made up for it with his cooking!

But he was carrying food - that should give him a free pass.

Yeah, but the endive/stilton/walnut/balsamic vinegar things he brought were really good! Maybe he didn't have time to iron his kilt.....
