Doesn't this look pretty? I started this to help another friend start her's. It's Belinda from Mason-Dixon. I got two hard earned rows done on this sucker before my cat decided to eat the yarn. That's right, my damn cat ate about 2 feet of the yarn then pooed it out. I love my cat. I really, really do.
This is a Harry Potter scarf. Check it. It's all stripey and Gryphondor-like. My daughter has fallen in love with HP over the last year and she wanted a scarf. From this house...then she changed her mind and wanted a different house. It's a little like the cat eating my yarn but somehow more painful. Well, she's getting a Gryphondor scarf and she'll like it! :-)
The more I look a this post, the more I realized I probably should have called it something like, "A list of things I have yet to complete or restart." I have 2 other things to show you, but I think I'm going to go knit. Just so I'm making some progress on some of them....and giving my ego a little bit of a boost! ;-)
P.S. Looks like SOPA might be dying. I believe at least 5 members of Congress have withdrawn their support for this terribly Orwellian piece of legislation. yay!
I adore the look and squishiness of Kidsilk Haze, but I really hate knitting with it. Good luck with Belinda!
